A Brief Look Back

Verger was created out of the Wake Forest University Office of Investments.

This legacy enables us to offer our clients unique, day-one access to the scale and purchasing power of a seasoned investment portfolio, delivered with the attentive, high-touch services of an experienced team.

Our name is derived from the short story “The Verger,” by W. Somerset Maugham. Facing an uncertain world, the Verger embraces change, recognizes opportunity, and has the initiative to seize it — and does it all with self-awareness and humility. We strive to do the same.
