Michael Collins, CIMA®

Managing Director, Client Development

As Verger’s Managing Director of Client Development, Mike is responsible for leading the firm’s engagement with new institutional clients to advance their financial missions. In this role, he collaborates with non-profit institutions, their stakeholders, consultants, and industry experts to connect them with Verger’s resources and expertise. His outreach strengthens Verger’s commitment to mission-driven organizations and broadens our impact across the non-profit sector.

Prior to joining Verger, Mike led institutional sales within the endowment and foundation space at The Northern Trust Company and TIAA. While at Northern Trust, he was a Senior Vice-President and practice lead for the Northeast US OCIO national practice, responsible for new business development. Prior to joining Northern, Mike was hired by TIAA to start the business development team for the newly formed TIAA OCIO business. As Head of Institutional Sales, he was responsible for the planning, development, and execution of their institutional business.

Mike earned a bachelor’s degree in finance from Georgetown University.  He holds the CIMA® certification, and currently holds FINRA Series 7 and 63 registrations.

Mike is a member of the Board of Trustees at Bishop Feehan High School and serves on the Investment Committee of the Catholic Diocese of Fall in MA. He also volunteers his time to various philanthropic organizations.
