Liz serves as the principal liaison between the firm and its clients. In this role, she develops and oversees the processes, materials, and offerings necessary to fulfill Verger’s service model of Engage, Integrate, and Educate. Liz routinely works with clients’ staff, board members, and external partners to develop a holistic view of their organizations, strategic objectives, and best practices. Internally, Liz works closely with the investment and operations teams to aid in meeting clients’ needs and expectations.
Prior to founding Verger, Liz served as a member of the operations team of Wake Forest University’s Office of Investments establishing her endowment experience. Previous to her role at Wake Forest, she was a paralegal for a mid-sized law firm, giving her over twenty years of relationship and project management experience and a spirit for advocacy.
Liz earned her bachelor’s degree in communication from Salem College and serves as a member of the Board of Directors for Disability Advocates of Northwest NC and Positive Wellness Alliance, non-profits that serve the disadvantaged and disabled communities in Winston-Salem, North Carolina.
Outside of the office, Liz enjoys destination hiking with her family and flexing her creative muscles through interior design projects and photography.
