Throughout her career, Katie has specialized in Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) Investing.  Her aim is to not only help clients achieve financial and life goals, but also social and environmental ones through generating positive social and environmental impact.  At Pell Wealth Partners, Katie worked with a range of clients and served in a leadership role for the firm.  In 2018, she was ranked as one of Forbes America’s Top Next Generation Wealth Advisors. In 2016, the Business Council of Westchester recognized her as one of their “40 under 40 Rising Stars.”  Prior to joining Pell Wealth Partners, Katie spent five years as a Responsible Investment Specialist with Mercer Investment Consulting in New York. She worked with corporate, endowment, foundation and public pension clients in the US to integrate ESG factors throughout their investment decision-making and active ownership processes. Prior to joining Mercer in 2009, Katie worked for New Amsterdam Partners, LLC and Calvert Group, Ltd, where she researched ESG issues and helped inform company procedures relating to ESG Investing.

She is a guest lecturer for Columbia University’s Master of Science in Sustainability Management program and for Bard College’s Economics program. She is the Treasurer of the Three Lakes Council, a local non-profit focused on environmental conservation.  For ten years, Katie acted as the book review editor for the Journal of Environmental Investing (JEI) and served on the JEI Scholarship Program’s Board of Directors.  She is a member of the CFA Institute, CFA charterholder and received a BA in Environmental Studies and Economics from Bard College.
