Jeff Manning, CPA

Chief Financial Officer

Jeff provides strategic, operational, and tactical management of the financial operations of the firm.  In this role, he is responsible for the management and oversight of the operations team, financial statement audits, interim and strategic financial reporting, tax reporting, and budgetary management of the firm.  

Prior to joining Verger, Jeff was the Assistant Director of Audit & Compliance at Wake Forest University.  Before joining the University, he gained valuable corporate accounting experience at KPMG LLP.  

Jeff earned his bachelor’s and master’s degrees in accountancy, as well as a Master of Business Administration from Wake Forest University.  He is also a Certified Public Accountant.
