We are excited to announce that Jim Dunn, CEO & CIO of Verger Capital Management, was recently named by Institutional Investor as the 2015 Chief Investment Officer of the Year at their Investor Intelligence Awards for Endowments and Foundations in North America.

According to the Awards’ website, Institutional Investor in conjunction with Investor Intelligence Network polled nearly 800 asset allocators, asking them to submit their nominations for individuals considered by peers and industry members to be true innovators, leaders and cutting-edge thinkers.

Following a thorough vetting process, the final nominees were selected, including Gumersindo Oliveros of Kaust Investment Management Company, Charles J. Pippin of Pepperdine University, Timothy Barrett of Texas Tech University System, Sally M. Dungan of Tufts University, and Joel R. Wittenberg of W.K. Kellogg Foundation.

Of the accomplishment Jim said, “With the caliber of nominees, I was in very good company with such a deserving group.  This award in particular is special for me.  To be recognized by my industry peers for an award that celebrates ingenuity is such a meaningful compliment.  I am truly honored.  I wish I could say this award was all me but I am excited to celebrate and share the accomplishment with my incredible family and Verger team.”

Congratulations, Jim!
