Patrick Decker, CFP®

Managing Director, Client Development

Patrick is focused on engaging the non-profit community and regularly interacts with institutions, their constituents, consultants, and industry experts.  Through this outreach, Patrick seeks to communicate Verger’s ability to support mission-based non-profits and expand the number of institutions we serve.

Prior to joining Verger, Patrick spent thirteen years at Hirtle, Callaghan & Co. Most recently, he served the firm as an Investment Officer and was primarily responsible for developing and managing client relationships.  Prior to joining Hirtle, Callaghan & Co., Patrick held various client-facing positions at The Vanguard Group and ING Direct (now Capital One).  

Patrick earned a bachelor’s degree in economics from Washington & Lee University in Lexington, VA.  He is CFP® certificant and currently holds FINRA Series 7 and 63 registrations in addition to NFA Series 3.

Patrick volunteers his time with several non-profits, serving on the Church Farm School Leadership Council and the Boards of the Brandywine Ballet and Pioneer Quix Stix Lacrosse. When he’s not working, Patrick can be found supporting local restaurants with his family or navigating the logistics of his daughters’ sports schedules.
