Verger Capital, an Outsourced Chief Investment Officer (OCIO) exclusively serving non-profit organizations, is pleased to announce the addition of Tricia A. Walker as Senior Fund Analyst.  As a key member of Verger’s Operations team, Tricia will oversee the firm’s partners, outside advisers and investment managers on all operational matters. Additionally, she will manage internal and external accounting and performance reports, while creating procedures designed to advance the strategic objectives of the firm.

Tricia comes to Verger with a decade of endowment management experience, previously serving in a similar role within the Cornell University Office of Investments.  There, she was a key member of the team responsible for investment operations, performance reporting, and portfolio administration.

“I am thrilled that Tricia will be joining our team,” said Jim Dunn, Verger’s CEO. “She shares our values and our focus on the mission to serve non-profit endowments and foundations, and she places the same strong emphasis as we do on the investor experience. She has shown herself to be an extraordinary teammate throughout her career and has a proven track record.”

Tricia earned a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting and a Master of Business Administration degree from State University of New York Empire State College, and holds a CIPM from the CFA Institute.

“Verger’s alignment with the work of the institutions they serve, along with the exceptional team and engaging culture drew me to this opportunity. Verger’s work with institutional clients allows me to use my experience in higher education to continue doing the work I am passionate about, but with a broader reach. I am excited to be part of this mission driven organization, and the collaborative atmosphere that plays to individuals’ strengths was one of the many reasons I chose to join Verger. My family and I are really excited to become a part of the Winston-Salem community,” Tricia said when asked why she made the move to Verger.

“As Verger strives to sustain operational efficiencies and scalability in an ever-changing environment, the depth of experience and new perspective Tricia brings to the team further supports our commitment to our clients,” said Vicki West, Verger’s COO. “We are pleased to welcome Tricia and her family to the Verger team.”
